Our Vision For Ministry...
We see our responsibility at this time and in this place to...
LOVE people to Jesus
TRAIN believers as disciples
SEND disciples to show God's love
Our Values...
Above all else we value God's word and people because these two things are eternal and matter to God. In our setting we value worship, fellowship and encouragement. To this end we will gather and worship together and be involved in each others lives to mutually minister to one another. As an extension of this value we will try to reach our community through any means at our disposal for the sake of the Gospel.
Our Confession of Faith...
A. We accept the entire Bible as the infallible Word of God, and we believe it was written by men inspired of the Holy Spirit and that it is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (Psalm 119:89; II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 24:35; II Peter 3:15-16).
B. We believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself in the affairs of men and that He hears and answers prayer, that He saves from sin and eternal death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
C. We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten son, conceived of the Holy Spirit born of the virgin Mary, sinless in His life and by his death on Calvary's cross substitutionary blood atonement for the sins of the entire world. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven (Acts 1:11) after 40 days (Acts 1:30), His ever living intercession at God's right hand for His people, and His personal visible return to this world, first to take to Himself His church, later to set up His kingdom and reign over the earth in righteousness according to His promise.
D. We believe the Holy Spirit is very God of God; that He possesses definite personality, that on the Day of Pentecost He inaugurated the church, that He resides in the body of every truly regenerated person, that He imparts power and wisdom for understanding of the Scriptures, for correct Christian living and for vital aggressive service for Jesus Christ (John 15:26).
E. We believe in the personality and reality of Satan, the devil, who is a great fallen angel presiding and ruling over hosts of fallen angels called demons, that he is the enemy of both God and man and is to be resisted by Christian people according to the law of spiritual warfare according to the New Testament. (James 4:7; Ephesians 6:10-18)
F. We believe all people by nature and choice are sinners in God's sight and that only those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and are "born again" have eternal life and are God's children and will live forever in God's presence and that all who do not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ will suffer the wrath of condemnation of God and eternal separation from God.
G. We believe that each human being may have direct relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ without the mediation of any human being, saint, or angel, and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith (I Timothy 2:5) and that each church is independent and must be free from any organizational, ecclesiastical or political authority and therefore church and state must be kept separate, each fulfilling its duties independent of the other.
